This privacy policy explains how Pocket Scan ("the app") handles information when you use it.
The app uses your device's camera to scan barcodes and QR codes. Scanning happens entirely on your device — the app does not upload camera images or video to any server.
The app displays ads served by Google AdMob. To serve relevant ads, AdMob and its partners may collect and use data such as your advertising identifier and general device information, in accordance with their own privacy policies:
You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device's ad settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads).
Scan history is stored only on your device and is not transmitted anywhere. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app permanently deletes it.
We do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifying information directly.
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
